Well done!

What is the total load of your modified sled?

8.5 lbs (3.9 kg) incl. VECT Li-Ion 130 Wh (2 lbs) and no camera (see first picture),
17.5 lbs (8 kg) complete with Canon XL H1 (see last picture).

Great specs, must be flying real smooth at 17.5 lbs. Thanks again for sharing your customized rig!

For those that are interested; What would you estimate your total cost on making these customizations?

Sled mofication only about $100, but I got a Gold Mount adapter for $40 from ebay. You may need a voltageconverter for the camera. I got a QR XLH for $70 from ebay and build my own SO XLR connector, to feed power from the sled into the camera, because no one in Germany did sell one.

My first test with the new sled:

Add a Firestore FS-4 Pro HD with no battery to the sled. All parts running on the Anton Bauer battery. Now I exceeded nearly the maximum load of the arm. Arm setting is 6/4. Weight total is 8.6 kg (18.95 lbs)

I really like your configuration, I like to know how you run the wire thru the post and where can I buy that voltage converter?

The converter is a Anton Bauer part for the XL H1. You need a additional Anton Bauer part to feed the battery mount external. The wiring was inspired from Carlos Mūnos. He shows how to go through the liitle holes under the stage. But you can drill holes for the wiring in the post an half inch away from the thread mount.
