Hello,

Are you using any additional accessories on the Sony Z1?

Hi there, not really, i know what the camera weighs and what weight each sled can manage but im wondering if its best to have the 2000 at near full weight(cam with batt weight approx 4.4lb) rather than the 4000 at not much over min weight.

thanks

It depends on a couple of factors;

Are you using any other cameras

Are you restricted by vertical space?

The Glidecam 4000 is a tall unit, however, it has a great vertical inertial point - which will increase stability on that axis.

The Glidecam HD4000 or HD2000 are both great choices, however, if you are looking for the best performance overall - I would recommend the Glidecam HD-4000 for the reason I listed above.
